Seeking the Best Outcome for Your Case

All litigation matters will have an outcome.  How the outcome is achieved is a function of the strategy, diligence, and dedication of the attorneys involved, in addition to the legal and factual matters of the case.

At the outset of a dispute or lawsuit, we provide an honest and realistic evaluation to determine the merits of a matter and the best-case scenarios for either trial or settlement. It is always our firm’s intention to lead a client through the complexities of the litigation process as efficiently and as cost-effectively as possible, and to simultaneous advance the litigation objectives of our clients (often, by simultaneously providing tenacious representation while seeking a settlement in line with a client’s objectives).

Client Objectives

We work with clients in the initial stages of their matter to identify their goals so that a strategy can be developed aimed at seeking these objectives.  In some cases, the objectives will be to achieve a certain monetary settlement.  In these cases, the strategy will entail processes in furtherance of such goal.  In other cases, there may be non-monetary issues involved, which may dictate that a case be tried.  Regardless of your objectives, we tailor our approach and strategy to furthering your goals.

Settlement Opportunities

In the course of litigation, there are often optimal times to pursue settlement opportunities.  Often, settlement opportunities may occur early in a case, before significant legal fees have been incurred, or after discovery has taken place, when each side will have a good understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of their case and that of their opponent.

At our client’s direction and behest, we will pursue settlement opportunities consistent with their objectives, which may entail mediation and/or arbitration.  As experienced litigation attorneys who also serve to mediate disputes between other parties, we bring years of negotiation experience to the table in seeking solutions that are favorable to our clients prior to trial.

Trial

When trial is necessary, our sole focus is on a seeking a complete win for our clients. We put forth the drive and commitment in seeking this result.

Legal Fee Management

We appreciate that litigation can be expensive, especially if a case goes to trial. It is our objective to keep clients fully informed throughout the duration of litigation so that they can make the decisions necessary concerning how to proceed.

When a strategy has been chosen by our clients, we are mindful to manage cases in a cost-effective and prudent manner based upon the goals and objectives of our clients.
